10 Benefits I Gained by Watching Sunrise

Sun is the visible God right in front of our eyes. We need not go to any temple or particular place to see this God. No long queues and tickets to buy. He gives his darshan freely to all of us who care to wake up early. This God touches every person and every being on this Earth unconditionally. He sends his rays and blessings to every person, every animal, every bird, every tree, every insect. Sun God stands for unconditional love and generosity. Many years back, just out of playfulness and sheer joy, I started watching Sunrise and spending time with my Sun (yes, my Sun). It became a kind of personal relationship with Sun). What started off as life’s little pleasure became a very powerful practice which impacted my life beautifully. The more I gazed at the Sun, the more receptive I became to the energies of the Sun. With the passage of time, I could feel the divine blessings and healing energies of the Sun. These blessings and energies rejuvenated my body, mind, and spirit. When I started watching Sunrise, I did not imagine that this simple practice of watching Sunrise can add so much value to my life. Today, I would like to share with you the benefits I gained in my life by waking up early and watching Sunrise for years. You will also reap these benefits when you too wake up early and watch Sunrise. 10 benefits of watching Sunrise 1. Helps in achieving dreams: When Sunlight hits our eyes, the pineal gland in our body gets activated. In yogic literature, the pineal gland is referred to as the third eye. When this is activated, you can manifest and achieve your dreams. Your energies start to vibrate at a higher frequency, and you attract the right things and the right opportunities. Coincidences happen in your life in miraculous ways. So, watching Sunrise can be a very powerful practice in transforming your life. 2. Peaceful start of the day: When you wake up early, you can start your day in a relaxed state of mind. When you start your day with peace and happiness, you carry this peace throughout the day, and you are better equipped to handle your day. Being in a hurry and rush in the morning time is not a productive way to start your day. 3. More personal time: By waking up early, you have your personal time where you can sort your thoughts and emotions before you start your day. You get to have some uninterrupted personal time. It’s important to strengthen your body, refine your emotions and sharpen your thoughts every single day to be successful in life. When you wake up early, you will find time to do this. 4. Helps in better planning: Early morning hours have fewer distractions. This makes it easy for you to plan your day, week, and month. This is the best time to ideate and conceptualize your big ideas. Without proper planning, it’s challenging to achieve big things in life. Waking up early in the morning gives us the time to plan our day, our week, and eventually our entire life. 5. Time to work on goals: We all have goals like perfect weight, calm mind, more happiness in life, etc. But many of us lack time to work on these goals. When you wake up early, you get time to work on your big ideas and goals. 6. Makes day positive: When you wake up early, you start your day on a positive note, and this, in turn, propels your day in the direction of positive events. Positivity brings more positivity. 7. Time for review: It’s a great time to review goals and the direction in which you are heading in your life. Just setting goals is not enough. Reviewing them on a regular basis is also important to achieve our goals. Reviewing helps us take the right action at the right time. 8. Source of Vitamin D: Sun is a natural source of Vitamin D. Vitamin D is an important vitamin that keeps you healthy physically, emotionally, and mentally. Health is one of the greatest blessings, and watching Sunrise is a great way to improve and protect our health. 9. Anti-depressant: Sunrise has great beauty and peace. Watching Sunrise is a source of joy and works as an anti-depressant. It also inspires new ideas and enhances your creativity. 10. Better health: Waking up at Sunrise helps you maintain a healthy circadian rhythm. Circadian rhythm is your body’s internal clock. When this is maintained properly, it can protect you from several diseases. These are some benefits of watching Sunrise, which I gained out of my own experience of watching Sunrise. 10 Ways to deal with Rejection

Are you rejected and feeling bad about the rejection you experienced? You are not alone. J.K.Rowling, Amitabh Bachchan, Walt Disney, Jack Ma, Oprah join you. They were all rejected again and again before they tasted massive success. Every person, who pursued their goals and dreams, would have experienced rejection during some phase of their journey. It can happen in relationships, career, or any other aspect of life. We all get hurt when we are rejected. It is normal. Some of us can move on quickly, and some of us struggle to cope with rejection. Rejection phase is an important phase in the pursuit of success, and the way we deal with it determines our future. We can deal with it negatively and give up our dreams. Or we can deal with it positively and use it to achieve our goals. In this blog, I will be sharing with you 10 ways to deal with rejection and use it to your advantage. How to deal with rejection to our advantage, eventually, we will get the success we desire, and we will also be able to identify many more new opportunities. So, let’s get started. 1. Introspect When rejection happens, take a pause and introspect. Genuinely, stand in the shoes of the other person and try to look at the situation objectively. Try to understand the other person’s viewpoint and analyze it to see the truth. If there is truth in the other person’s viewpoint, respect it and learn from it. If there is no truth, let it go. But introspect and think thoroughly. Introspection will help you improvise and progress. Without introspection, we will be missing the opportunity to grow. 2. You are bigger than the rejection Many of us take rejection personally, but we must remember that we are bigger than a rejection in 1 area of life. We have other pursuits, and there is more to life. There is a great future with many more opportunities. If not this, something else will come our way. Don’t let rejection define your identity. 3. Use it as a Feedback Mechanism View rejection as life’s way of giving you feedback. If someone rejected you in an interview, identify your areas of improvement and work on them. When we accept rejection as a feedback mechanism, we use it to our benefit and improve in life. Use every rejection to improve yourself. 4. Don’t give up Don’t ever give up your dreams just because someone rejected your ideas and thoughts.“Harry Potter”(J.K.Rowling) book was rejected by 12 publishers before it was published. Walt Disney, the person who created the magical Disney world, was fired from his job in his early days, and the reason given was lack of imagination. But these people believed in their dreams more than the rejections, and eventually, they found brilliant success. So, don’t give up your dreams. Your dreams are bigger and more powerful than rejection. 5. Build your inner strength Sometimes, in life, we will face rejections again and again, and it can be really painful. Build your emotional and mental strength to walk through these rejections. Meditation is a great tool in building inner strength. Meditate every day for a few minutes and sharpen your mind to face life’s challenges. 6. Keep trying Just because you are rejected, don’t stop trying. Keep trying and pursue your goal wholeheartedly. When you invest your time and efforts, you will eventually figure out the right way. So, keep trying. But improvise and try again. Remember Einstein’s words – “We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.” 7. Be open to learning Right knowledge is needed for success in anything. So, learn more about your area of interest and upgrade your skills and knowledge. Become more resourceful and valuable by improving your knowledge and skills. 8. Don’t waste your energy When you are rejected, it is natural to feel low and worthless. But don’t stay in these negative states of mind for a long time, as these negative emotions can drain your energy and focus. These negative emotions can stop you from seeing the bright side of life. So, come out of this state sooner by spending time in nature or watching a good comedy movie or meditation. 9. Stay positive Fill your mind with empowering thoughts and emotions such as gratitude, love, joy, hope. Some tools that help you stay positive are the regular practice of meditation, yoga, reading positive books, watching inspiring movies or videos, and spending time with positive people. Consciously, try to be in a state of positivity. 10. Believe in the future There are endless opportunities in this world. So, believe in the future and keep working smart and hard. Your belief will give you the strength to walk through difficult times. So, these are some ways to deal with rejection. Every person, who achieved something significant in life, has successfully handled the rejection phase. Use the rejection you experienced as feedback and build your skills, knowledge, and inner strength. If life gives you lemons, make a delicious lemonade and enjoy it. No matter what, keep walking towards your goal with determination and the right skills, and very soon, you will get the success you desire. 5 Qualities I Admire in My Father (Superstar Krishna)

Are you a fan of my father and curious to know some of his great qualities? Then, this blog is for you. To every daughter, her father is the role model. It’s the same with me. My father is my role model and inspiration. He is a man of few words and great actions. He never gave us any big speeches on how to live life. He showed it through his actions and daily life. I have been incredibly blessed to observe him closely and learn from his actions. A person is the sum total of his/her qualities. My father’s stardom and success are rooted in his great qualities. In this blog, I am going to share with you 5 qualities I admire in my father. Anyone can imbibe these qualities and change one’s life. Let’s get started. Quality 1- Punctuality: Time is money, and money is time. In fact, time is more precious than money because time, once lost, can never be gained. In the movie industry, time plays an important role. In order to create a single scene, several actors are needed, and even if one actor is late, the shooting gets postponed. The making of a movie is a team effort, and being punctual makes it easy. My father was always punctual and respected time. Whether it is professional or personal commitments, he came on time. 5  Benefits of Being Punctual Quality 2 – Eating homemade food: The quality of food we eat impacts our health, wellbeing, and mind. If we eat high-quality food, our energy levels will be high, and we will have strong immunity. The easiest way to eat high-quality food is to choose homemade food. So, my father was careful about his food. He preferred homemade food any day. Though the lunches are lavish on movie sets, he made it a point to eat only homemade food. Outside food contains many harmful chemicals and preservatives. Eating homemade food is a great principle to stay healthy and fit. 6  benefits of eating homemade food Quality 3 – Being down to earth: My father was quite simple and down to earth. His simplicity amazes me. It’s very easy to be carried away by success in life. It’s a wonder that he chose to be so down to earth in spite of being a superstar. There is no air of superiority about him. 3 benefits of being down to earth Quality 4 – Pursuing dreams with courage: Many of us have dreams, but only a few of us pursue them because it needs a lot of courage to pursue dreams. There will be challenges and roadblocks in the pursuit of dreams. Things will not turn out as we planned. So, many of us quit pursuing dreams after a few attempts. My father, as a young man, had a dream of becoming a hero. It was a bold dream because he did not know anything about the movie industry. He did not have acquaintances in this industry when he started. He just had a dream, but he had the courage to go through the process and make his dream a reality. His courage to pursue his dreams made him a superstar. 5 benefits of pursuing dreams with courage Quality 5 – Great control over emotions: I have never seen my father lose his cool and shout. Even in a challenging situation, he had control over his emotions. He was emotionally balanced, and I think this quality greatly helped him face the ups and downs of his life with grace. Emotions are very important in life. They make life worthwhile. But when we lose emotional control and let negative emotions dominate us, our relationships get affected. We become restless, agitated, and negative. So, having emotional control and balance is important in life. 5 benefits of emotional control These are some of the qualities I admire in my father. My father never tried to impose his views or qualities on us. He gave us the freedom to choose and evolve. I have tried my best to implement these qualities in my own life. Here Are the 5 Tips That Helped Me in My Journey of Parenting Meditation: Parenting needs time, energy, and patience. A major factor that saps energy levels is stress, and today, stress has become common. One of the wonderful ways to keep stress at bay is meditation. I recommend meditation to every new parent. When you meditate, you become less stressed and more peaceful. From this peace in your heart, it is easier to practice conscious parenting. When you meditate regularly, you become more mindful and better at handling your thoughts, emotions, and stressful situations. This simple tool will help you enjoy parenting, and you will have the energy to make the most out of parenting. So, regularly practice meditation. Self-care: We forget self-care after becoming a parent. But without being healthy and happy, one cannot give the best to parenting. So, it is important to take care of ourselves. Don’t neglect self-care. Take out the time for exercise, healthy eating, and whatever else is needed for you to be happy and healthy. Your health and wellbeing matter greatly in the journey of parenting. If you want to make time for self-care, it is important to have a strong support system around you. So, build that support system. There will be many tasks for you in a day but don’t miss to prioritize self-care. It makes a great difference to your energy levels and satisfaction. Establish a routine: A daily routine simplifies life and keeps it organized. Randomness, at times, is fun, but frequent randomness can make life stressful and hectic. Minimize randomness by having a routine. Research says a routine creates a sense of security in a child. So, create a routine for your child and yourself. Let this routine be something that you and your child enjoy. This simplifies life and minimizes stress to a great extent. The child knows what to expect and follows the plan accordingly. While planning the routine, be realistic and flexible. Understand the strengths and weaknesses of your child and yourself and create a routine around it. A good routine will simplify your life and save your energy. Spend time: The most valuable thing you can give to your child is time. Spend time with your child every day and give undivided attention. By doing this, the child feels loved and secure. Playing, having conversations, eating together, and telling bedtime stories are some ways of spending time with children. When you spend time with your child, your mutual bond of understanding and trust deepens. Also, it’s fun to know their little worlds. So, spend that time with your child. When you give a sufficient amount of time in the formative years of your child, your child will build enough strength and capabilities and will require minimum intervention in the later years of growth. Take care of the diet: In today’s world, we have junk food everywhere in the form of those colorful pastries, snacks, chocolates, etc. Unhealthy ingredients like sugar and MSG are hidden in seemingly healthy foods. When children eat junk food and unhealthy food, they become cranky and restless. Their immunity weakens, and they fall sick frequently. Hence, it is important to take care of the diet. Create healthy food options and snacking options at home. While planning the meals, follow the below 3 rules as much as you can. Diet impacts the energy levels, emotions, and thoughts of your child. So, take good care of the diet. Add healthy foods like vegetables, fruits, nuts, and seeds to the daily diet. These are the 5 tips that helped me greatly in my parenting journey. None of us are born with the wisdom of parenting. Like anything else, parenting is a skill, and we develop it with experience, study, and observation.
